Doment
Privacy policy for the Doment Google Ads app
This policy covers the application named Doment that connects to the Google Ads API, described on the home page. It is operated by Doment Digital FZE LLC, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, United Arab Emirates (licence 4431328.01). The privacy policy for the doment.ai website and product is separate, at doment.ai/legal/privacy.
1. What data the app accesses
With the permission https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords, granted by a Doment administrator, the app accesses:
- the structure of Doment's own Google Ads account: its campaigns, ad groups, ads and keywords;
- performance statistics for that account: impressions, clicks, cost and conversions;
- keyword statistics Google publishes through Keyword Planner: average monthly searches, competition and suggested bids.
It does not access any other advertiser's account, and it does not access personal information about the people who saw or clicked an ad. From the administrator's Google account it receives only what Google's sign-in returns to authorise the connection.
2. How the data is used
Only to measure and improve Doment's own advertising: deciding which searches to advertise on, how much to bid, and which keywords to stop paying for. It is not used to build profiles of people, to target or retarget individuals, for credit or lending decisions, or to train artificial-intelligence models.
3. How the data is stored and protected
Data is stored on Doment's own server, which only Doment's administrators can reach, through key-based access. The Google authorisation token is stored encrypted and is never sent to a browser. Data travels over encrypted connections.
4. Sharing
Data received from Google is not sold, rented or shared with any third party, and it is not combined with the client records that agencies keep in their Doment workspaces. Only Doment's own team reads it. It would be disclosed only if the law required it.
5. Retention and deletion
- Advertising statistics are kept while they are useful for planning Doment's advertising, and for no longer than 24 months.
- When the connection is withdrawn, the stored Google authorisation token is deleted and the app stops reading at once.
- Any of this data can be deleted on request by writing to support@doment.ai; we delete it within 30 days.
6. Withdrawing access
The administrator who granted access can withdraw it at any time from Google account permissions. Withdrawing it stops all access at once.
7. Google API Services User Data Policy
Doment's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
8. Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Questions or requests: support@doment.ai.
